Qualifications

• Educational Qualification: Candidates must possess a minimum of 10th/12th Pass, ITI, Diploma, or Graduation — depending on the post applied for (details will be specified in the official notification).

• Technical Posts: For roles like Technician or Assistant Loco Pilot, relevant trade certification or diploma from a recognized institution may be required.

• General Requirements:

  • Proficiency in reading, writing, and speaking in the local language of the concerned railway zone (where applicable).

  • Basic knowledge of computers; familiarity with MS Office, database entry, and email correspondence is preferred.

  • Good health and physical fitness as per RRB standards.

Salary Details

Selected candidates will be remunerated according to the Seventh Central Pay Commission (7th CPC) pay matrix applicable to Group C staff, along with allowances and railway-specific benefits such as:

• Dearness Allowance (DA)

• House Rent Allowance (HRA) / Quarters (where provided)

• Medical facilities for self and dependent family members

• Leave Travel Concession (LTC)

• Pension / Provident Fund as per statutory provisions

Exact salary level will depend on the post and corresponding pay band.

Age Limit

• Minimum Age: 18 years

• Maximum Age: 33 years

• Age relaxation applicable as per Government of India norms for candidates belonging to SC/ST/OBC/Persons with Benchmark Disability (PwBD) categories.

• General / OBC: ₹ 500 (non-refundable)

• SC / ST / PwBD / Female: ₹ 250 (non-refundable)

• Payment mode: Online only (via net banking, debit/credit card, or UPI)

• Fee waiver: Applicants belonging to eligible exempted categories (as specified in the official notification) may be exempt from fee payment.

Application Process
