Qualifications

Candidates must fulfill the following educational criteria:

• 10+2 / Intermediate pass in Science with Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English with minimum 50% aggregate marks and 40% in each subject; OR

• 10+2 / Intermediate pass in Science with Physics, Chemistry, Botany, Zoology and English with the same minimum marks requirement.

The qualification must be obtained from a recognized board.

Salary Details

Selected candidates under the Agniveer scheme will receive a structured yearly package as per defence norms:

• 1st Year: ₹30,000 per month

• 2nd Year: ₹33,000 per month

• 3rd Year: ₹36,500 per month

• 4th Year: ₹40,000 per month

Additional benefits and allowances will be provided as per Indian Army regulations.

Age Limit

• Minimum Age: 17½ years

• Maximum Age: 23 years

• Candidates must be born between 01 July 2004 and 01 July 2009 (both dates inclusive).

Age relaxation will be applicable as per Government rules.
