Qualifications

For Non-Teaching Posts:

• Junior Assistant / Store Keeper: SSLC (10th Standard) or equivalent from a recognized board.

• Typist: SSLC + Tamil & English Typewriting Higher Grade + Computer Office Automation Certificate.

• Skilled Assistant Grade-II / Laboratory Assistant: ITI / NTC / NAC in relevant trade or equivalent qualification.

For Teaching Posts:

• Lecturer (Engineering / Science): Master’s Degree in the relevant discipline with First Class or equivalent as per AICTE norms.

• Librarian: Master’s Degree in Library Science / Information Science with required eligibility qualifications as per regulatory standards.

Salary Details

Salary will be provided as per Government of Tamil Nadu pay scale norms:

• Junior Assistant / Store Keeper / Typist / Skilled Assistant / Laboratory Assistant:
  ₹19,500 – ₹71,900 per month (Pay Level 8)

• Lecturer Posts:
  ₹57,700 per month (Pay Level 10)

• Librarian:
  Salary as per institutional and Government norms.

Age Limit

Age will be calculated as per Government norms (as on the specified cut-off date):

For Junior Assistant / Store Keeper / Typist:

• SC/ST/SC(A)/Destitute Widow: 18 – 37 Years

• MBC/BCM/BC: 18 – 34 Years

• Others: 18 – 32 Years

For Skilled Assistant / Laboratory Assistant:

• SC/ST/SC(A)/Destitute Widow: 18 – 41 Years

• MBC/BCM/BC: 18 – 36 Years

• Others: 18 – 36 Years

For Lecturer & Librarian Posts:

• Maximum age limit: 59 Years

Age relaxation is applicable as per Government rules.
