Post Short Description

• Tamil Nadu Medical Services Recruitment Board (MRB) has released a notification for Nursing Assistant Grade II posts.

• A total of 999 vacancies are available across Tamil Nadu Government Medical Institutions.

• Selection will be purely merit-based.

Qualification

• Must have passed SSLC (10th Standard) from a recognized board.

• Must possess a Nursing Assistant Training Certificate issued by a Government Medical Institution in Tamil Nadu.

Salary Details

• Pay Scale: ₹15,700 – ₹58,100 per month

• Pay Level: Level 1 (Tamil Nadu Government Pay Matrix)

• Other allowances as per government norms.

Age Limit

(As on 01 July 2026)

• Minimum Age: 18 years

• Maximum Age:

  • OC Category: Up to 34 years

  • BC / MBC / SC / ST / BCM / DNC: No upper age limit

  • Differently Abled Persons: Up to 44 years

  • Destitute Widow: No upper age limit

• Age relaxation applicable as per Tamil Nadu Government rules.

• SC / SCA / ST / Differently Abled / Destitute Widow: ₹300

• All Other Categories: ₹600

• Fee is non-refundable and payable online only.

Selection Process

• Selection will be based on Merit Marks:

  • SSLC Marks – Weightage

  • Nursing Assistant Course Marks – Weightage

• No written exam or interview

• Final selection after Certificate Verification.
