 Qualifications

Candidates must meet the following educational requirements as per UGC norms and Government of Tamil Nadu guidelines:

• A Master’s Degree in the relevant subject from a recognized university with at least 55% marks (or equivalent grade).

• A pass in NET / SLET / SET conducted by UGC or a similar test accredited by UGC.

• Candidates who have been awarded a Ph.D. degree in accordance with the UGC (Minimum Standards and Procedure for Award of Ph.D.) Regulations 2009 are exempted from the NET/SLET/SET requirement.

• Proficiency in Tamil language up to the SSLC / HSC level is desirable.

 Salary Details

• Pay Scale: Level 10 of Tamil Nadu Revised Pay Matrix (Rs. 57,700 – Rs. 1,82,400/-)

• Additional Benefits: Dearness Allowance, House Rent Allowance, and other admissible allowances as per Government norms.

 Age Limit

• Maximum Age: 57 years as on 1st July 2025

• Age Relaxation:

  • SC/ST/BC/MBC/DNC candidates – as per Government of Tamil Nadu norms.
