The Railway Recruitment Cell (RRC), Western Railway has released a notification for the engagement of Trade Apprentices under the Apprentices Act. A total of 5,349 vacancies are available across various divisions and workshops. This recruitment offers an opportunity for 10th pass candidates with ITI qualification to undergo apprenticeship training in different technical trades.

Post Short Description

• Post Name: Trade Apprentice (Various Trades)

• Total Vacancies: 5,349 Posts

• Recruitment is for Apprenticeship Training under the Apprentices Act.

• This is a training program and not a permanent railway job.

Qualification

• Must have passed 10th Class (Matriculation) under the 10+2 system with minimum 50% marks from a recognized board.

• Must possess an ITI Certificate in the relevant trade issued by NCVT/SCVT.

• Candidates awaiting results are not eligible.

Salary Details

• Selected candidates will receive a stipend as per Apprenticeship Rules during the training period.

• Stipend will be paid according to government norms applicable to apprentices.

 Age Limit

• Minimum Age: 15 Years

• Maximum Age: 24 Years

• Age Relaxation:

  • SC/ST: 5 Years

  • OBC: 3 Years

  • PwBD: 10 Years

  • Ex-Servicemen: As per Government Rules

Selection Process

• Selection will be based on Merit List.
