12th standard enough Govt School Assistant, Accountant job 2025 recruitment

What I found: job rules & recruitment in Telangana

  • Telangana School Education Department (TS DSC) recently invited recruitment for SGT, School Assistant, and various posts. For School Assistant the required qualification is degree / PG + B.Ed or equivalent. So 12th alone is not enough for School Assistant posts.

  • The School Assistant posts explicitly require higher education (degree) as per that notification.

  • For SGT (Secondary Grade Teacher), the eligibility includes Intermediate / Senior Secondary plus education qualification (D.El.Ed, B.Ed etc) and TET exam. So here 12th is part, but additional teacher qualification is needed.

  • For TSPSC Group 4 / Junior Accountant / clerical cadre — posts like Junior Accountant are included in Group 4.

  • However, for many Group 4 posts, previous eligibility criteria by TSPSC expect a graduate degree for certain posts (including some accountant / clerical posts) under Group 4.

  • Some reports say for TSPSC Group 3 / Group 4 recruitment in 2025, the eligibility might include “Intermediate / 12th or Degree depending on post.”

Conclusion: is 12th enough?

  • For some posts (especially SGT / teacher assistant type), 12th is part of eligibility but not the full requirement (you’ll need teacher training / B.Ed / TET).

  • For many accountant / assistant / clerical government jobs, 12th alone is generally not enough — a degree is required.

  • So in short: No, 12th standard alone is unlikely to qualify you for most “Assistant / Accountant / Govt School” recruitment in Telangana. You’ll likely need a degree or additional qualification.
