Qualifications

• For Navik (General Duty): 10+2 (or equivalent) from a recognized Board, with Mathematics and Physics as compulsory subjects.

• For Yantrik (Technical): 10th class + relevant Diploma in Mechanical / Electrical / Electronics / appropriate trade (as per notification)For Navik (Domestic Branch): Matriculation (10th pass) or equivalent (depending on the advert) for certain support roles

• Nationality: Must be an Indian citizen. (As per general ICG eligibility rules.)

Salary Details

• For entry-level posts such as Navik (General Duty) and Domestic Branch: basic pay is ₹ 21,700 per month (Pay Level-3).

• For Yantrik (technical) posts: pay starts at ₹ 29,200 per month plus applicable allowances. 

• In-hand monthly salary (inclusive of allowances, duty posting allowances, DA, HRA, etc.) typically ranges ₹ 25,000 to ₹ 40,000, depending on duty location, allowances, and rank. Additional benefits include government-norm allowances, medical coverage, pension/retirement benefits, and other perks as per ICG regulations.

• For most entry-level enlisted posts (Navik, Yantrik, Domestic Branch): Minimum 18 years, Maximum 22 years (as on cut-off date specified in notification).

• Age relaxation may be applicable for reserved categories (e.g., SC / ST, OBC) as per Government of India norms.
