Qualifications

Qualifications vary depending on the post:

Navik

• Passed 10+2 with Maths and Physics from a recognized education board.

Yantrik

• 10th pass with Diploma in Mechanical / Electrical / Electronics Engineering.

MTS, Store Keeper, Driver

• 10th / 12th pass from a recognized board.

• Valid driving license (for Driver post).

• Basic knowledge of store management (for Store Keeper).

Lascar & Other Group C

• 10th pass with basic maritime knowledge (where applicable).

Candidates must meet all physical fitness and medical standards as per ICG norms.

Salary Details

Salary structure as per the 7th Pay Commission:

• Navik (GD/DB): ₹21,700 (Pay Level–3) + allowances

• Yantrik: ₹29,200 (Pay Level–5) + Yantrik pay ₹6,200

• Group C Posts: ₹18,000 – ₹25,000 (Post-wise)

Additional benefits include DA, HRA, Transport Allowance, Medical Facilities, Pension, and other government perks.

Age Limit

Age criteria vary based on the post:

• Navik & Yantrik: 18 – 22 years

• MTS / Store Keeper / Lascar / Driver: 18 – 25 years

Age relaxation applicable for SC/ST/OBC/ESM as per government norms.
