Qualifications

  • Educational Qualifications:

    • For PO / Junior Associate: Graduation (any discipline) from a recognized University / Institution.

    • For SCO roles: Graduation or Post-Graduation in relevant discipline (e.g., MBA for HR, CA / CFA for Risk / Finance roles, LLB for Legal, B.E. / B.Tech / MCA for IT, etc.), as specified in the official advertisement.

  • Computer Literacy: Basic computer knowledge and proficiency in MS Office and internet operations.

  • Language Requirement: Proficiency in reading, writing, and speaking in English and local/regional language (as per branch location).

Salary Details

  • Probationary Officer (PO): Starting pay in the scale of approximately ₹41,960 – ₹58,220 per month, plus allowances and perks as per SBI norms.

  • Junior Associate (Clerk): Starting pay in the scale of approximately ₹19,900 – ₹22,000 per month (pre-revised), with allowances and benefits.

  • Specialist Cadre Officers (SCOs): Salary commensurate with qualification and experience, as per bank’s prevailing pay scales and role-specific grade.

Exact pay scale and allowances will be as per the notification and applicable to the place of posting.


Age Limit

  • Probationary Officer (PO) / Junior Associate (Clerk): Typically between 20 to 28 years.

  • Specialist Cadre Officers (SCOs): Age limit may vary depending on discipline and prior experience (if applicable).

  • Age relaxation: Applicable for candidates belonging to reserved categories as per Government of India / SBI regulations.
