Periyar Centenary Polytechnic College invites applications for Teaching and Non-Teaching positions on a regular basis. A total of 05 vacancies are available in the following posts:

• Lecturer – Architectural Assistantship (SW)

• Lecturer – English

• Lecturer – Chemistry

• Skilled Assistant – Architectural Assistantship (SW)

• Junior Assistant – Office
  The positions are based at Vallam, Thanjavur (Tamil Nadu).

Qualification

Post-wise qualifications are as follows:

• Lecturer – Architectural Assistantship (SW):

  • B.Arch or 4-year degree in relevant discipline with First Class
    OR

  • Bachelor’s and Master’s Degree with First Class in either.

• Lecturer – English / Chemistry:

  • Master’s Degree in relevant subject with First Class
    OR

  • Master’s Degree with First Class along with NET / SLET / SET qualification.

• Skilled Assistant – Architectural Assistantship (SW):

  • ITI / NTC in Architectural Draughtsman or Draughtsman (Civil) trade.

• Junior Assistant – Office:

  • Must have passed SSLC public examination.

Salary Details

• Lecturer (All Subjects): ₹56,100 – ₹1,77,500/-

• Skilled Assistant: ₹19,500/-

• Junior Assistant – Office: ₹19,500/-
  (Salary as per Government norms)

Age Limit

(As on 09-02-2026)

• Lecturer Posts: Should not have completed 59 years

• Skilled Assistant: Should not have completed 38 years

• Junior Assistant – Office:

  • SC / SCA / ST / DW: 18 – 37 years

  • MBC / BC (OBCM) / BCM: 18 – 34 years

  • General (UR): 18 – 32 years

Age relaxation applicable as per Tamil Nadu Government rules.
