1. Field Engineers & Field Supervisors (1,543 Vacancies)

• Recruitment under Advt. No. CC/03/2025, for Field Engineer and Field Supervisor posts across regions.

• Application Window: Opened on August 27, 2025 and closes on September 17, 2025 (by 23:59 hrs).

• Vacancy Breakup: A total of 1,543 posts spread across disciplines—Electrical, Civil, Electronics & Communication, in various regions and projects.

• Age Limit: Maximum age of 29 years as on September 17, 2025, with relaxations as per category.

• Eligibility:

  • Field Engineers: Full-time B.E./B.Tech/B.Sc (Engg.) or equivalent, 55% minimum marks.

  • Field Supervisors: Full-time Diploma (Electrical or equivalent), 55% minimum marks.

• Compensation:

  • Field Engineer: Basic pay ₹30,000 + Industrial DA, HRA, perks (~35% of Basic), CTC ~₹8.9 lakhs/annum.

  • Field Supervisor: Basic pay ₹23,000 + same allowances, CTC ~₹6.8 lakhs/annum.

• Selection Process: The POWERGRID Common FTE Written Test 2025 will be conducted—details awaited on the official site.

2. Executive Posts — Manager / Deputy Manager / Assistant Manager (115 Posts)

• Application Window: From February 18, 2025 to March 12, 2025.

• Vacancy Details:

  • Manager (Electrical): 9 posts

  • Assistant Manager (Electrical): 58 posts

• Age Limits:

  • Manager: up to 39 yrs

• Eligibility: BE/B.Tech/B.Sc Engineering in Electrical (≥60%), with relevant experience (4–10 years depending on post).

  • Manager (E-5): ₹80,000–2,20,000

  • Deputy Manager (E-4): ₹70,000–2,00,000

  • Assistant Manager (E-3): ₹60,000–1,80,000

3. Field Supervisors (Safety) — Fixed Tenure

• Engagement Basis: Fixed-term contract (Advt. No. CC/02/2025 dated 05.03.2025). Process Details: Notices include application count, screening test, CBT, admit cards, and objection management from March–July 2025.

• Alternate Report: Some sources mention 28 Field Supervisor (Safety) roles with salary details ₹23,000–1,05,000/month, for a fixed 2-year contract (extendable to 5).

4. Chairman & Managing Director (CMD)

• Notification Timeline:

  • Vacancy effective from April 1, 2026.

• Eligibility: Senior leaders from CPSEs, PSBs, Govt. services, or large private firms (₹10,000 crore turnover), with relevant qualifications and ~5 years of leadership experience.
