The following positions are open under the Chennai Metro Rail Works Recruitment 2025:

• Station Controller / Train Operator

• Junior Engineer (Civil / Electrical / Mechanical)

• Technician (Various Trades)

• Assistant (Admin / Accounts)

• Maintainer (Civil / Electrical / Electronics)

• Field Engineer / Project Associate

Note: The number of vacancies for each post will be announced in the detailed notification.

Qualifications

Applicants must possess the following educational qualifications as per the post:

• Station Controller / Train Operator: Diploma in Engineering (Electrical / Electronics / Mechanical) from a recognized institution.

• Junior Engineer: B.E. / B.Tech in Civil, Electrical, Mechanical, or Electronics Engineering from a recognized university.

• Technician: ITI Certificate in relevant trade from a recognized institute.

• Assistant (Admin / Accounts): Bachelor’s Degree in Commerce / Business Administration / Arts from a recognized university.

• Maintainer: ITI / Diploma in relevant discipline.

• Field Engineer / Project Associate: Graduate / Postgraduate Degree in Engineering or Project Management.

Candidates must also meet the prescribed technical and physical fitness standards as required by CMRL.

Salary Details

Selected candidates will receive an attractive pay scale as per CMRL norms:

• Station Controller / Train Operator: ₹35,000 – ₹82,000 per month

• Junior Engineer: ₹40,000 – ₹90,000 per month

• Technician / Maintainer: ₹25,000 – ₹70,000 per month

• Assistant: ₹30,000 – ₹75,000 per month

• Field Engineer / Project Associate: ₹50,000 – ₹1,00,000 per month

Additional benefits include DA, HRA, medical allowance, and performance incentives as applicable.

Age Limit

• Minimum Age: 18 years

• Maximum Age: 35 years

• Age relaxation is applicable for SC / ST / OBC / PwD / Ex-Servicemen candidates as per Government of India norms.

• SC / ST / PwD Candidates: ₹250/-
